Myriad of a conversation I encountered while traveling to the United Kingdom for three weeks, apart from too many photos I took. And get tired of seeing churches and castles because one can take up so much of history at one time. To sum up, here are the photos highlights and conversation happened at that time the picture was taken.
In total I spent 16 days in London. Go back and forth to the city after several day trips. Managed to explore many areas and tourist spot but it never enough.
Overheard at Harry Potter Studio:
A girl to her friend holding a butter beer: “So how does it taste like?”
A girl holding the butter beer: “It just like root beer float with cream in it. But, with a better cream. Nothing too fancy”
Conversation at: Shoe Tree at The College Green
Me: “What’s the purpose of the shoes on the tree?”
“Friend: “It’s just a ritual. No one ever knows why and when it happened before. But I know it attracted a lot of visitor”
Conversation on the way to the Highlands by Lauren our cool tour guide while explaining to us about history of Scotland
“Have you seen the movie Braveheart. Well, we Scottish hate the movie. I think it’s wrong. They don’t even portrayed our history correctly.”
“Whoaaa hoaaa..ok wait a minute..here it goes your most exhilarating bump ride over. whoa whoa! (no bump). Whoops, I think I just wasted you 30 seconds of enthusiasm.(chuckle)”
Overheard at George Square:
Older guy:”Hey, you look the same as 3 hours ago.
Younger guy:” Yes, because I haven’t move in 3 hours.”
Conversation with our “teacher” of magic when learning how to use the broomstick
Me:”How many times have you done this?
Magic Teacher:” Haha that’s tough. I think about more than 200 in the past year. It’s not always easy though. There are good and bad days. This is a good day but when it not, people need more motivate to do it. Come on men, help us so we can help you.”
